Tap a step to watch it again.
Slide the washer out far enough to see both hoses and the taps behind it.
Unplug it first.Look along both hoses for bulges, cracks, kinks or rust at the ends, and feel for damp at each tap.
Turn the hot and the cold tap clockwise until they stop.
Set a towel and a bucket under them, then unscrew each hose from its tap and from the washer.
Rinse the small screens inside the washer's inlets and pick out any grit.
Screw each new braided hose on by hand, hot to hot and cold to cold, then a quarter turn more with pliers.
Open both taps slowly and look at every end for drips. Push the washer back without kinking the hoses.
