Pull-down faucet head won't go back: check the counterweight
A pull-down head that won't go back is almost always its hose's weight slipped out of place, or the hose catching under the sink.

Empty the cabinet under the sink so you can see the faucet's hose hanging down in a loop.
Look along the hose for a small weight clamped on it, often round, or a two-piece clip.
With the head docked, the weight should hang at the bottom of the loop. If it has slid up, or come off, that's why.
Loosen or unclip the weight, move it to the bottom of the loop, and clamp it back on.
Move bottles and boxes away from the hose, and make sure it can't hook on the valves or the drain pipes.
Pull the head out and let it go. It should glide back and click into place.
A kinked, worn or leaking hose, or a head that won't click in: ask Handyman for a plumber to replace it.
