Close the door all the way, then unplug the opener so nobody can start it.
Each bottom corner's bracket and roller hold the lift cable. Never loosen them.
The bottom brackets and the springs hold great force.Look for rollers that are cracked, wobble or have flat spots, and hinges that are cracked or loose.
Loosen the nuts on one hinge only. Leave every other hinge tight.
Tip the hinge out, slide the old roller's stem out of it, slip the new one in, and set the hinge back.
Tighten its nuts, then move to the next one. Swap a cracked hinge the same way, one at a time.
Plug the opener back in and run the door up and down. It should run quieter and straight.
