Turn the oven off and let it cool completely, then slide the racks out.
Soak the racks in hot soapy water, then scrub and rinse them.
Spread a paste of baking soda and water over the inside, keeping it off the heating elements and the seal. Leave it overnight.
Wipe the paste out with a damp cloth and a plastic scraper, then wipe again until no white is left.
Using self-clean instead? Take the racks out, open a window, run the hood fan, and keep pets, birds most of all, in another room.
It gets very hot: stay home while it runs and keep children away.Close the door on a strip of paper and pull it. It should drag. A torn, flat or loose seal lets heat out.
Unplug the range or switch off its breaker, and let the bulb cool.
Only with the power off and the bulb cold.Unscrew the glass cover, then the bulb. Screw in an appliance bulb of the same kind and put the cover back.
